Dru Yoga



Dru yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation.

With its foundations set firmly in ancient yogic tradition, Dru works on body, mind and spirit—improving strength and flexibility, strengthening core stability, building a heightened feeling of positivity, and deeply relaxing and rejuvenating your whole being.

Dru yoga includes classical yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (breath work), mudras (empowering hand positions), positive affirmations, visualisations, meditation, relaxation and sequences performed in a flowing and dynamic style. It is readily adapted to a wide spectrum of abilities, and is particularly suitable for those with physical restrictions or who have simply slowed down with age

I started Dru Yoga in middle age, having not done any yoga at all for years.  I loved the style from the word go and over time the changes have been lasting and at times, profound. I am certainly stronger and more flexible at 60 than I was 20 years ago!

 Equally the sequences and postures can all be enjoyed by anyone seeking to increase strength and sporting performance - truly Yoga for All.
